About The Artist

Liam Carrier was born in London, Ontario but raised in Vancouver, BC, from an early age. His love of the arts started early in his life and extends from painting to comic strips to filmmaking. After high school he studied film at Vancouver Film School and Capilano College. Liam's painting did not come by him unnaturally. Both his maternal (Don MacCallum) and paternal (Robert Carrier) grandfathers were accomplished painters. However, Liam's love of large-format abstract paintings certainly distinguishes him from the work of his grandfathers. Liam currently resides in Coquitlam, BC where he has developed Number Ten Studio and paints from his house. Liam also publishes two websites devoted to wine: IconWines.ca offering features and industry commentary and IconScores.ca which focuses on reviews of Canadian and International wines available to the BC market.
